This is my Love Letter to Brooklyn

I love New York. I love Brooklyn. I especially love my little corner of Brooklyn: Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens.

I moved to this corner of Booklyn during a particularly challenging point in my life, I had just lost my father and I was reeling, And this community really supported me and helped me to heal and come back to myself. Now almost 9 years later, my life has changed wildly and through all those shifts this beautiful little pair of villages continues to inspire and bolster me.

I wanted to highlight the people who make this neighborhood so special and inspiring. These are the stories of those people. People who’ve created incredible spaces from a place of passion and community.
